Contractors and consultants sell their time and expertise, usually through their own limited company and sometimes as a sole trader or through an umbrella company. Anewthing looks after the accounts, payroll, dividends, VAT and personal tax that come with that, and reviews each engagement against the off-payroll working rules so that status questions are dealt with early.
Three dedicated service pages cover the detail: Contractors, Consultancy services, and IR35 and off-payroll working.

Common questions
Who decides my IR35 status?
Public-sector bodies and medium or large private-sector clients decide and must give you a status determination statement. With small private-sector clients, your own company is responsible.
Do consultants with several clients still need to think about IR35?
Usually less so, because genuine business risk and multiple clients point towards self-employment, but a long engagement with one client can still fall within the rules.
