Payroll and PAYE

The responsibility for getting payroll right sits with the employer. Anewthing can run it for you, so employees are paid correctly and HMRC receives accurate, on-time reports.

Under Real Time Information, employers report pay and deductions to HMRC every time employees are paid. Late or inaccurate submissions can lead to penalties, and correcting errors afterwards is costly and disruptive.

Common questions

I am taking on my first employee. What do I need to do?

You normally need to register as an employer with HMRC before the first payday, set up payroll, check the employee’s right to work and meet workplace pension duties. Anewthing can guide you through the payroll side.

Can you help if I run payroll myself?

Yes. You can use Anewthing for year-end forms, benefit reporting or a periodic PAYE health check without outsourcing the whole payroll.
